If It's not bad enough that one of the biggest distributors of MMA gear is after us, we also have a band of smaller guys that would like to scrape away some of our business. I do not even know who SSF is, but they have come out with a glove called 'PrimeTime Style'. I'm flattered by the attention, but really, that is false advertising. I have never, ever come out with a cross training or amateur fight glove that was this crappy. Not only is it light -the sample we received was about 4.5 oz, but the padding was brutal and the leather is what I call, 'cut leather' i.e. it splits over time and cuts your training partner.
This is also one of those cases where a picture does not do justice to the product. It looks kinda like a PrimeTime Level 4 MMA glove, but once you pick it up you know that it cannot possibly be a PrimeTime MMA Glove. Take a look at the picture. I know which glove I'd want for training or amateur fights
